Network Risk Assessment
Today’s networks are vulnerable to attacks from intentional external actors or from unwitting users within the system. Each new device, such as a new cell phone model, new software upgrade or a new tablet introduced within a network can all be potential point of entry for hackers to penetrate a system. The challenge to every network administrator is to identify such threats without disrupting the workflow within an office or region. It is necessary for each network Administrator to thoroughly identify the vulnerabilities of all devices, new and old, from time to time. Most organizations need to assess the risks within their environment and overlay those with their organization’s risk tolerance to identify the critical and non-critical threats, and this has to be done without bringing down the systems or disrupting the work.
CRSI’s Network Risk Assessment Services (nRAS) offer its customer a way to assess such risks and identify vulnerabilities within their existing environments. CRSI has proprietary tools, developed internally, which identifies the failure points by either analyzing existing dataflows from past information or simulate devices and their behavior. These sophisticated tools can simulate up to 500,00 devices and dataflows between device-to-device or device-to-hub or between hub-to-hub. This allows the systems to work without interruptions or before introducing new devices within an environment.
CRSI then works with the client to overlay their requirements and risk tolerances to create a report of critical and non-critical threats to the organization. CRSI then uses these reports to translate them into actionable tasks which are used to develop a more robust network environment and contain threats.
